I am all hyped up!! If you have never been to a Mardi Gras parade then you do not know what you are missing! If you have been and you are a local from the area then get READY!
Over the course of the next 3 days there will be over 10 parades in and around the area. I am stoked to be able to go TODAY. I am bringing two of my favorite things with me. My husband, (of course) and my favorite toy. MY CAMERA. I never leave home without it. I am packing us a picnic lunch, snacks and a few drinks to take along. It is an all day affair. Forget anything you may have heard of the dangers of New Orleans parades. It is simply not true. There are so many places to be that are safe and fun for adults and children. So if ever you get a chance to come to Louisiana make this part of your bucket list.
